You Are Not Alone

You have never felt so alone in your life. You walk through an empty house. At night, the bed seems so big, empty and cold. A thousand things need attention or decisions and there is no one there to help you. The silence is so loud it's deafening. Everywhere you go or look it seems everyone has someone; everyone but you.

The enemy would have you believe that you are alone, that no one really cares, that your life is hopeless, and the pain will never go away. He may fill you with anger and bitterness, depression, unforgiveness, revenge, or hopelessness. Don't listen! Don't give in to his lies!

You are not alone! We understand your pain and lonliness. We are all too familar with the confusion and the rejection. But we want to tell you, we are not abandoned!

God knows every tear you shed alone at night, when no one was around; when your heart was so full of pain you didn’t think you could stand it another minute. He was there. He was holding you in His arms, listening to your heart. He is the reason you were able to breathe, able to put one foot in front of the other and somehow walk through another day. He is the one who brought you to this site. He loves you, and He feels your pain, your brokenness, and your lonliness.

But He loves you so much He doesn’t leave you in your pain and brokenness. He is with you, holding your hand and walking each step beside you.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26

Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring. Hosea 6:3

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. I Corinthians 10:13

A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life—life in all its fullness. John 10:10

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Psalm 23:1-4

He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. Isaiah 61:2-3

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6

You don't know what to do or which way to go. You know that what you've done so far hasn't worked. You are looking for answers and direction. Understand that no one else has the answers either. You friends and family may mean well, but our "Father knows best." God planned your life from the foundation of the world. He alone knows what the answers are and what is best for you.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
