Life doesn’t always turn out like we planned. We can find ourselves in situations we never wanted or imagined. Our lives can feel out of control, and the hurt can be devastating. We want to know that we aren’t alone, that someone understands, and it isn’t hopeless.

You aren’t alone.

FACT: It has been estimated that nearly 50% of all marriages end in divorce.

 Unfortunately, there are many women with similar stories. The details may be different, but we share the feelings of rejection, betrayal, hurt, anger, confusion, uncertainty, hopelessness, and of being lost; not belonging anywhere. Sometimes the tears seem as though they will never stop. We think there must be a lake somewhere with our name on it; our tears wouldn't fit in a bottle.

Take heart, dear sister. God knows your pain and the tears you have shed. His word says so. The Bible tells us that God is especially close to us when our hearts are broken. We can be sure that He knows our sorrows and our pain. Nothing the world can offer will have a lasting, positive, healing outcome. Run into His arms and let Him comfort and strengthen you.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18 

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.  Psalm 147:3

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

 It is our prayer that your hope will be restored, as you come to understand who God says you are, and how very much He loves you. We want to stand with you, pray for you, and provide encouragement as you walk through this season in your life.
